Bar Graph

Today for maths I had to make a google form about something and see how meany people liked that thing. Me and my buddy Vinnie love sports so we did what’s your favourite sport ? Once we got the answers we made a bar graph to show what was the most popular sport.

Have you made a bar graph ?

now it is quiz time

How many people chose football + tennis ? leave your answer in the comments.

Protest Art.

For the last couple of weeks we have been doing  sum protest art this is how I made it.

  • First we practice the fonts we want to do I did bubbles letters.
  • Then we painted the letters and the back round.
  • Outline it in vivid.

Have you done protest art ?

Transformations

Today for maths we got a Google draw document. We had to make a rotating pattern, a reflecting pattern and a translating pattern. A rotating pattern is where the shape or thing turns. A reflecting pattern is when the shape mirrors. A translating shape is when the shape moves to the side.

Protest Activist slide

For Inquiry  we had to make a slide about what we have to protest about. I took action for non-renewable energy and I am trying to stop it.

The reason I chose it is because it is a big problem for us and future generations. I worked with Ianto and Brenyn.

The reason I chose them is that they are my friends and we were doing the same thing.

Do you use renewable energy’s ?

Keeping Ourselves Safe

Today the 17 of September me and all the year sixes in TWM had Constable Jeff. He took a lesson with us in the big breakout to teach us how to keep ourselves safe because we need to keep ourselves safe.

I learned that

  • If someone is harming you in your house and you cannot get out, you lock yourself in the bathroom.
  • If you can get outside you can go tell your neighbour or a relative.
  • It’s never the victim’s fault.
  • I learnt that police don’t have  permanent guns.
  • Tell a close relative.

Have you had Constable Jeff come visit ?

Ki – o Rhahi

For Monday Mashup we played ki-o Rahi. We learnt about the purakau of the game and then had a go.

It was a challenge to get the point when you had to put the ball on the ground because when you get close they rip you.

I showed success because I won.

I showed sportsmanship because I encouraged  my teammates.

I recommend ki-o Rhahi because it is fun.
